Purilon gel can be used for necrotic and sloughy wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, non-infected diabetic foot ulcers, and for 1st and 2nd degree burns.
The gel may be used throughout the healing process to provide a moist healing environment.
It is used for wounds that need effective and gentle debridement of necrotic tissue thereby paving the way for optimal wound healing, and should be used in conjunction with a secondary dressing.
